We currently have a number of Explorer Scouts participating in the Bronze, Silver and Gold D of E award Scheme.
The award is split into four sections, Service, Skill,
Physical Recreation and Expeditions.
To gain the awards you will need to complete all four
sections, the Bronze and Silver award will take a minimum of 6 months.  
During the year we have a number of evening training meetings where you will learn to map read, use a
compass, route planning and first aid. You will also need to take part in Expedition training and the main weekend
expedition to the Isle of Wight for the Bronze D of E or the 4 day expedition to the  Peak District for the silver D of E.
